Skirt

Over the years, the vast majority of the times I've seen you, you've been in your “bumming around the neighborhood” clothes, or perhaps every once in a great while your “summer bbq” clothes (that 4th of July dress from last year… still haunts my dreams). Your “mom standing at the bus stop with her kids at the crack of dawn” clothes.

That's the you I fell in love with. That will always be my favorite you.

But Holy Moses. You do dress up nice.

That skirt? Please, feel free to wear it any old time you please. I won't even mind if you walk away from me, so long as you're in it. No ma'am, won't mind a bit. Hope you don't mind if I'm staring. Can't help it. I'm in love with that part of you, too.
